In 1979, Camilo Argumedez, "Azuquita", the Panamanian sonero who was singing at the time with La Tipica 73, came to Paris. In the 25 years that he spent in the City of Light, Azuquita was a driving force in the creating the small world of Parisian salsa that we know and love today.
